Cuddle Up

Cuddle Up

A Poem by c.m.
"

This is so lame...read with that in mind.

"

What if I told you I want you

To lay with me and keep me warm

What if I told you I need you

To calm my nerves and ease the pain

Cuddle up because I'm weary

Let me hear your heart beat

Cuddle up because I'm cold

Let me steal your body heat

And what if I put my hands in your hair

To ease your mind and stroke your tension

And what if I put my hands on your chest

To measure your breathing while you sleep

Cuddle up because I'm tired

Let me hold you to me

Cuddle up because I'm wrong

Let me live while you breathe

It's just a way to say I need you....I just decided to write it while it was hanging around...be gentle. Tell me if I should just delete it.

This is so not lame. There are so many times when life gets hard and all you need is just a quiet, warm and long hug. No words, nothing else, "just hold me". Because you're cold, or because you're tired, or because you've been wrong. And something as simple as this is sometimes hard to get. You nicely picture intimacy.
I liked this.

I am snuggling in right now...this was amazing and full of the most basic need ....contact. I found this poem very relaxing and pretty damned romantic. Great job sweet, I love it.

Why would you say this is lame, Cheyenne? This is beautiful! I think every woman has put her hand on her man's chest to feel him breathe....

It's very sweet! Don't delete!
