Pardon Me

Pardon Me

A Poem by c.m.
"

If it is what you want...

"

Infatuation

Turned into something of a disease.

Infatuation

Unhealthy and disgusting.

Infatuation

I've lost my sanity.

Love, I am truly sorry.

I hope you know

Your friendship is my only expectation.

I hope you know

You're an amazing man.

I hope you know

You've become like my best friend.

I'd never dream of asking you for more.

Forgive me, love

I ask too much of you.

Forgive me, love

I say things I should keep inside.

Forgive me, love

My poetry is intense and inappropriate.

I know I feel too strongly.

My sincerest apologies

I never meant it to come to this.

My sincerest apologies

My feelings seem to have overcome my reason.

My sincerest apologies

I will take my leave if you desire.

Pardon the intrusion.

Some intrusion are great honor to the person we desire and care for. Life is funny. We could be in the same room with someone we need and they want us in their life too. I like this poem. The story was strong and the ending was polite. A excellent poem.
