BubblesA Poem by c.m.I was out with the kids...Bubbles catching the sun, Playing tricks with colors. The wind carries away their troubles. Watching their lips form little circles; Let go... Giggles as they run in circles, None the wiser. "They kissed each other Cheyenne!" So innocent, silly. My girl brings me a dandelion, tells me to make a wish. I have it. I'll stare into the sun with them; Eyes wide open. I am content. © 2010 c.m. |
