Bubbles

Bubbles

A Poem by c.m.
"

I was out with the kids...

"

Bubbles catching the sun,

Playing tricks with colors.

The wind carries away their troubles.

Watching their lips form little circles;

Let go...

Giggles as they run in circles,

None the wiser.

"They kissed each other Cheyenne!"

So innocent, silly.

My girl brings me a dandelion, tells me to make a wish.

I have it.

I'll stare into the sun with them;

Eyes wide open.

I am content.
