Will You...?

First I've ever tried on this subject...it's a bit of a touchy subject for me.

Unworthy,

I fall before your mighty person.

Forgiveness to be asked,

Promises to be made.

 

I've said hurtful, filthy things;

Will you turn me away?

I've cut myself to search my blood for you;

Will you turn me away?

I'm guilty of all the seven sins;

Will you turn me away?

 

I've done such wrong, so much sin;

Will you ever forgive me?

I have thoughts I shouldn't have;

Will you ever forgive me?

I've done things of which I'm ashamed;

Will you ever forgive me?

 

I've lost my faith countless times;

Will you still let me find you?

I've pushed away your offered hands;

Will you still let me find you?

 

I've fallen down upon my knees;

Will you still take my hand?

I've begged and pleaded for your love;

Will you still take my hand?

 

I've been guided to fath too late;

Can you love me?

I promise to stay here with you;

Can you love me?

you know that God poems always get me; I'm just like that... so, yes, I cry when I read this... because I've been there and this touches my heart like no other subject, touch or not...
