A One Way Ticket

A One Way Ticket

A Poem by Chesney W.
"

sometimes I just wish I could run away from everything.

"

A one way ticket to anywhere,

That's all I want.

A single tear falls from my face

And all hell breaks loose.

Sharp objects fly through

Stabbing me.

Glass ripping through my bare skin.

Blood poring and puddling up.

The ones with fangs rush to my side.

They suck me dry and leave me lifeless.

Everyday life now seeming a fairytale.

Haunted by the empty streets.

A beast lurking,

searching for its prey, me.

A one way ticket to anywhere,

That's all I want.

Very raw emotions going on here - have also felt like getting away from all the people who are hurting me too, so understand the feelings, well written :)
