I'm Changing Who I Became.

I'm Changing Who I Became.

A Poem by Chesney W.

"No more piercings.

No more drinking.

Never any tattoos.

Smoke, and I'll never talk to you."

You say these words,

that's who I've been for a while.

I never would've thought I'd have to give it all up.

But you're worth it.

Baby, you're worth the world to me.

I'd rather keep my body how it looks,

instead of filling it with metal and ink,

if it means I can keep you.

Harsh chemical's like alcohol and tobacco,

will kill with time.

That's time I can spend with you.

You hate all these things that I used to like,

then you walked back into my life.

I'm changing who I became for you.

If I didn't care so much,

I wouldn't do it.

This is proof of how much I want to be with you.

You're making me become a much better person.

Thank you, JCP(:

Author's Note

Chesney W.
This guy, I've known him for a while, and he just got back into my life. Little did he know that I had become a 'bad teen'. Well, he doesn't like those things I did and wanted to do, so, because I care for him so much, I'm changing my ways and becoming a better person.

Good to desire change. All of us like to test life and find our limits. I wrote a poem years ago. "When we want freedom. Can't have love." Must give up a lot of things we enjoy. I like the desire to become better for another. Thank you for the excellent poem.
