I want someone.

I don't like being single...it sucks.

Watching as couples pass

hands held

smiles on their faces.

 

I thnk back to when that was me.

I seemed my happiest.

Love on my mind all the time.

 

Now, I'm all alone.

Everywhere I look, there are lovebirds.

People so happy.

 

I want to be kissed.

I want to be loved.

I want the lonely to leave.

 

I want someone that's like me,

yet, different

so we can balance.

 

I want to be wanted.

I ache to have someone.

I cant stand this anymore.

 

But absolutely no one wants me.

I think he's the one,

but then he shuts me down.

 

Rejection hurts.

I want to be accepted.

I want someone.

There are many walking lonely as you describe in this poem. Everyone (well mostly everyone) longs for that special someone, and time always proves to sort life out. Things just pop up. Thanks for sharing!
