I am...

I am...

A Poem by Chesney W.

I am...

Figuring out who I am.

Coming to a realization about the truth.

Shocked at what is real.

Still being bullied.

Finding a way out.

Learning what I should have known.

Hurt because of what was said.

Crying from all the pain.

Feeling actual heartache.

Wondering why.

Confused about everything.

Laughed at for my blindness.

Made fun of by my peers.

Wishing I could wake up from this nightmare.

Wanting to be wanted.

Listening to their lies.

Discovering the riddles.

The reason your life sucks.

The one to blame.

Nothing but a shame.

Dreaming of a brighter future.

Becoming a disgrace.

Searching for an accurate answer.

Hey kiddo I hear you. Guess what? It can last a lifetime. Keep smiling and don't let the b******s get you down. (Well try not to)

thanks
Life is all about finding out who we are, the search. If we make a mistake, there's no one to blame but ourselves simply because we made the choice to do that certain thing or say that certain lie. The reason we live is to make choices and to take stubbles along the way...it's okay to make mistakes and to take a fall here and there. It's okay to get bumps and bruises, blood on our knees even. We're not perfect, weren't born to be...so why can't we live like who we are and be okay with it...?

thank you girl
you have marvelously expressed your emotions and those who bully others are insecure people who are scared and to hide their weakness they criticize and show others down so don't you worry about what they say .. just do what you think is best!!

Hm, I wrote a poem, a lot like this, called "We are".

:) Thanks for making me ponder.

ill do it when I can find time...thanks for the review
A powerful poem. Open the door to question. No-one should be bully by anyone. Some people are best to keep a distance from. They get pleasure from hurting another. Better to smile and walk away. Silence can cause fear and respect. Anger bring you to their level. We need friends who accept us for who we are. Thank you for sharing the poem. A excellent poem.

If I knew you personally, I would probably bully you as well. Because people who bully others are just jealous of what you have, and insecure of what they lack. And after that read I am very jealous of you
Your writing is great keep it up!

Warning this review contains coarse language...

F**k 'em... The ones bullying... People make other people feel bad because it makes them feel better, like they are important or special, when in reality no one and nothing is special or important. Unfortunately we must share our lives raised in this society where distraction, over-abundance, manipulation, and addiction reign ... Good job.
