Love everlasting.A Poem by Chesney W.Your touch, your feel. You make me want to know you better.
Your hand in mine, the way they intertwine. This feels right.
Your lips, just an inch away. Your breath makes me want a taste.
The way you say my name. The chills that run down my back. This is the way I want to feel forever.
You move closer(as if that's possible), and kiss my cheek, then you kiss my lips, then our mouths combine.
You touch me here, you touch me there. Touch some more, if you dare.
You move your hand upward, starting from my knee. You take your hand away. No, don't stop now, please.
You remind me that you must go, and I begin to cry. "I'll see you again tomorrow. I love you so much. Bye."
I dry my tears, and wave you off. Your truck leaving dust, that being my last thought.
I text you, "I miss you. Why'd you have to leave?" "I miss you too. Don't cry again, please." "Why'd you have to go?" "Look in the sky. Do you see the rainbow?" "Yes. But, what does that have to do with anything?" "I see it too. Close your eyes and believe. Believe that I'm still there. If you do that, then tomorrow will be here."
