A Better Future.

A Better Future.

A Poem by Chesney W.
"

My life right now sucks, so I'm hoping I have a much better future.

"

Floating.

Magically floating in air.

Waiting.

Patiently waiting for my fate to come.

Wondering.

Letting my mind wonder what will happen next.

Everything I do is so I will be prepared for the future.

I'm hoping for a bright future,

full of happy times,

filled with amazing people.

I'm hoping for a good future,

for my life to be easier than it is now.

I'm hoping for a future with little sadness,

a future with with no villian.

I'm hoping for a better future.

The future can't always been without conflict or sadness, for its those things that make us stronger and defines who we are.

This is a poem more concerned with hope from what I've read and hope is a powerful thing. I like what you did in the beginning with the single words acting as entities for your thoughts. It would have been cool to see you continue that pattern the whole poem.

All opinions aside, this was a good read.
