Let me be me

Let me be me

A Poem by Chesney W.

Miserably alone...

Trusting in no-one...

Threatened by many...

Nothing, life is gone,

fire in my eyes,

a blazing fume of uncertainty.

Anger builds up,

fists clutch,

veins pop.

my own home,

a nightmare.

reality is hell.

a shooting star,

something to keep me from becoming someone else.

my life is disguised,

and very few know why.

3 years left until I'm free.

Longing for that day to come as soon as possible.

Then I can let me be me,

and not who everyone thinks I am.
