Die Trying

Die Trying

A Poem by Chesney W.

the hole in my chest,

grows more painful than necissary

my life is gone...

being pulled under inch by inch,

without a clue as to where I'm going

getting lost in a sea of souls..

my absence becoming a party for everyone.

being watched constantly,

so I'm doing all right.

I can make no mistakes of my own,

I get told which decisions I'll take,

being pushed to the limit,

breaking point is right on edge.

the cave looks nice,

but the cliff seems like the better choice,

no more hiding!

time for skydiving!

I'll either land on my feet,

or I'll die trying..
