An Arpeggio

An Arpeggio

A Poem by Frecklewood

An arpeggio of wayward notes

Plucked by fingers of clay

Chromatic chords of bleeding thought

Melt atonal black to grey

A lonely scale pours liquid morrows

Over kidnapped rhyme

Beauty and ugliness dance a dirge

Across a six string lyre

An adagio of timbred time

Escapes destiny's throes

Through a pentatonic pirouette

A thorn begets a rose

This writing is off well tempered manner. While we were inserted in musicality I thought I would throw that in. However the musical terminology serves to describe rather than to define musicality. In fact it felt to me like contructions of images using musical concepts. Writing notes on a sheet of music for the purpose of creating an enchanting piece ? Maybe.

How intriguing

Thankyou

An homage to language…

"timbred" isn't a word. "timber and time" maybe?

Actually, "timbre" is a musical term, used quie appropriately in this context.
