Learn to have patience

Learn to have patience

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner
"

You can't force the free...

"

The cogs of truth are whirring

A fight of wills tonight

She hasn't seen the signs

She's given up the right

The winner has been written

Upon the scrolls of age

Ancient hands of knowledge

Our melancholy sage

Forgotten are their lessons

Not one who holds the key

Or suspects what they have planned

For you and for me

There is a need for patience

Give blessed souls a chance

Not all can bend to whim

Or follow your original dance

Yet all will find their place

In the spring and summertime

They'll thrive in their own way

With nurture of the divine
