From my heart

From my heart

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner

From my heart to the page,

From the page to your soul

Judge me not

For the riddles I speak

I long for satisfaction

A deep, all consuming, treat

I hope that you're listening

Wherever you are

These words are for you

As is each and every star

From my heart to the page,

From the page to your soul

At least, I'm hoping you're out there

Only heaven would know.

.
. you inspire me ... i write for my absconding soul mate and hope that one day he will read my words ... this poem is just phenomenal ... just knowing that you know how it feels ... just knowing your aspiration ... is enough solace and comfort ... what a blessing you are ...

Beautiful and touching. It has a simple but effective flow that bleeds of soft whimsy. Another excellent piece

I'm out there alright, but I don't think that's what you meant. ;) This is lovely.
