Life loving you

Dreams keep on coming

You star in every one

I cannot still the beating

Nor the steady thrum

Life has left me short of breath

I've run a million miles

Not a whiff of the darkness

I'm left with pockets full of smiles

I cannot complain

And so, seldom do

The only thing thats missing

Is spending life with you
