Courage

Chaos in motion

This life knows no sense

Whether correct or not

You ignore my downfall

Belittle experiences of great passion

Did I have no courage

Did surviving take less

Where is my praise

What point is there in this

Do you lack belief

Faith in the kindness of humanity

Perhaps we all are the same

One heart collapsed in self servitude

I reach

There are no hands to hold

I stay

For them

I breathe

For the sake of life not yet lived

Is there no bravery in the battle

No life beyond insanity

Survival from any situation deserves the greatest respect .. insanity is a moment of time when nothing exists outside the dark cloud surrounding the spirit .. of course you deserve every ounce of empathy going.

Your poem could be factual or otherwise .. whichever, it calls out for understanding, for acceptance .. you give, you should be given in return.

'Did I have no courage .. Did surviving take less' -- a question like that should never need to be asked ..
