Farewell

Farewell

A Poem by Cheryl J. Turner
"

R.I.P Grandma

"

Cheerio and farewell

To the memories we had

Of bubbles being blown

Of the tortoise in the grass

Of the meals to feed a thousand

and the cheery way you laughed

Goodbye and so long

To the smell I hold so dear

The Games we played and so often would cheat at

A family all together because of you

I will think of you and smile

I will remember you with joy in my heart

Cheerio and farewell

I hope I'll see you soon

Save me a spot on your cloud

and together we'll watch the moon.
