Hide and SeekA Poem by FrontierAfter a long, long streak of not having anything to write....I'm back...
I just wanna go back to
playing hide and seek with everything in the world. So busy, what keeps them so busy, busybodies That phrase "as above so below" in a waiting room between the soul and the spirit, yet every morning we find the water's still boiling The trace of smoothness, erosion eyes, on the outside looking in, the word made flesh, an insomniac that is always sleeping Kids know that what lies under their beds is... "May I walk you home" "Do you know the way out of here?" Kids ripping apart their Christmas presents, and the adults, I think they're burning bridges An omen O'men, o men I am so there where I am, so there, Where I am, everybody sleeps in the same room To be parallel today eyes containing an underground city, supernatural selection © 2014 FrontierReviews
