Royal Slave

Royal Slave

A Poem by Frontier

So he called him, and he came in

She herself publicly confessed it

“I did so and I do so”

Mr. Would-be king

Houses, Land and Money

the history of this Royal Slave

skins of prodigious snakes

extreme, modest and bashful, very shy,

diet of bread and water

“Look what this a*s is doing! Curse the beast,

you are not coming on board”

Those who want slaves, or Fellow-Citizens of the deep

Rising and Roman

African and flat

Such ill morals are only practis’d

In christian countries

An eternal idea in his mind

He was therefore no sooner got into his apartment

Those burdens where no illusion,

Perceptive faculties at least,

Deluded into imagining himself a beast

To understand a thing, is to

suffer something

"To understand a thing, is to
suffer something" totally knocked off reading this, plus also it tells a great tale about the inequalities in society.

thank you Mayank :)
This was a bit hard to follow for me - the crowding font and the feeling I had of disjointed and incomplete thoughts...
