A Poem by Frontier

I don't like that
Heaven and hell
Could be opposite sides
Of the same circle
It makes me sad
To think
Never felt so incomplete
To contemplate something
Endless, eternal
You sound like
Nostalgia of the future
Peace of mind
Piece of mind
I kind of
Want more
Than alpha and
Omega

To me, life is like a tuna fish sandwich. You take a bite, and you're like, hey this isn't so bad. However, there's a chance you might get food poisoning and be vomiting for hours. Life is a circle, so don't be a square.

Very cool poem.. Yes alpha and omega are not good enough, we want infinity-- that symbol of a circle, twisted... I wonder then, conceptually... If heaven and hell are opposite sides of the circle, once we twist it, can we stay in one realm or the other-- heaven or hell-- or will we always have to follow the full length of the line, passing through hell, to arrive in heaven.

I love poems like this, that take me into my favorite contemplation place-- physics, as it applies to life and love.

Indeed Horizon,
I love reads that make me question. Thanks :)
It makes perfect sense to me that this has no title. maybe it's the way my mind works but to give this a title would be to give this plea for an "eternal everything", restriction. Constriction. You can't stifle this poem it needs an event horizon in which to escape into/ or out of. I thought the ending was sublime, too. Almost not an ending but an eternal beginning. and why is it some people yearn for the multiverse? while others, only for the nearest star? How do we fill all that space, where do we find all those lives?

Mind expanding, poem

Take a look at the universe it is almost infinite, but falls short, maybe that will be easier to comprehend, although it is still ginormous! Great piece, I love the honesty found in your work.

some not even in 3!
I think this is really interesting as I wonder about the "two sides of the same coin" concept often. Heaven and Hell, God and Satan, Yin and Yang could all be such things. Wanting more than the "alpha and omega" seems to be the human striving for knowledge and understanding. Enjoyed your thoughts :) Penny

Thanks Penny :)
interesting piece, Frontier...

a circle is a symbol of completeness but if heaven and hell are part of that circle, then surely there is conflict...
i love the lines " you sound like/ nostalgia of the future"

peace and piece...nice use of those.
