Amazing use of words.
"Ripe with death,
divine mess
In your desert
I can find wilderness
I won't name you,
just open the flood-gates
let me eat the stars
that dance behind your eyes"
I like the above lines a lot. You led the reader to a logical ending. Your strong description create thoughts and visions. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

What a profound and powerful write. This one packs a punch of life. The imagery is outstanding while carrying a dark veil over these powerful words you've weaved together. Outstanding!! xo :)

Thank you and that comes out in a lot of my writing :)
It's dark, vivid and full of unusual images. I imagine if Salvador Dali (one of my fave artists) wrote poetry, it would be like this. You blend death and a black widow beautifully and I love "let me eat the stars that dance behind your eyes". Mosquitos are blood suckers and shameless in all they do. It has a theme of change or transition perhaps, riddled with dangers along the way. But next time I read it, I will probably get a completely different meaning from it too :) Complex and delightful. I appreciate how the writer gives each stanza enough depth, enough finality, to stand on its own. That stanza then slips seamlessly into another, opening up yet other doors. They all were, in effect little poems of their own. I spent a lot of time in some of these rooms your doors led me into, exploring the interior and the deeper meaning of your words, your worlds. I liked hanging out in all of them, where your imagery was mysterious, and provoking. But at the fourth, and twelfth I hung out a little longer. The power of a million years of birthright, of legacy? We just keep dying, I thought, and flowering all at the same time.
This poem deserves more illumination, than what
I could provide.
