Deep the river flows (inside inside inside )

I have all this intensity and passion 

inside inside inside 

trying to keep a sense  of containment 

I cry I cry I cry 

I don't know where i'm going with you 

I'm on a road less traveled

with a mind that confuses

and a heart with many bruises

But still I have all this passion 

stirring in my heart   

 wanna go back but we can't 

even though we have tried 

too scared of present perfection 

we hide we hide we hide 

we need to be we and not I 

if we are to discover the delights 

but the evil creates the enemies 

and 

we lie we lie we lie 

I don't wan't us to become a war 

fighting the I 

fighting in you and I 

both got to take a risk 

hold hands and travel the night 

but I already feel so alone 

alone alone alone 

I don't know where you are 

I'm hoping next time I meet you 

there will be a shining star 

to guide us and to remind us 

of where we want to go 

and maybe we can feel a little lighter 

make love and feel a bond tighter

We need to be WE 

and I need to trust we 

for I am scared too 

takes me time to settle 

and decide if i'm in for the ride 

just like you 

just like you

I hope you are still there 

for I am  in too deep now I fear 

i'm down in the stream 

soon to the river 

hope your take my hand 

don't want to be left high and dry

I can feel the passion oozing through each line of your poem. Passion to be with someone you loved yet I can sense a hint of hesitation on it. Scared to love again so deeply and then get hurt? But isn't it the real essence? Doesn't love bear all the happiness and all the pain? True satisfaction will come from loving another with all your heart. If this poem is rooted from a real experience then I must say that the future is unkown but until then you must take into consideration all the possibilities and choose the one that makes sense to you the most.

This is a impressive write, raw and full of emotion. I'm glad I was able to read this.
