Courage Writes Me

Courage Writes Me

A Poem by Earthy Mumma Soul

Stab wounds creating tension in my aura
I try to deny it but the breath don't lie
inside I wanna break down and cry
but there's no one to hold me
so I stay strong and write at night

It's my path to walk alone it seems
in my own history,
 pushing me to stand
while i'm
Battling
 in some one else's crime
punishing my soul
I feel small and
the shame never dies
but what can you do

just tie your shoes,
bake the bread,
get on the bus
the feeling is never far behind
it never leaves but
what can you do ..

~
I smell the roses
black as they are
they are what I need
to survive

Such beauty once more. Battling in someone else's crime. What a wonderful line from such sadness.
