Breathe

Here as I breathe in 

help me stay present 

and not be overwhelmed 

Here as I breathe in 

help me to stay soft 

and not become hardened 

Here as I breathe in 

help me to be open

and not become closed 

Here as I breathe in 

help me to breathe deep and long

and not become shallow

Here as I breathe in 

here as I am 

here as I be

the friend that I've been looking for 

is the one thing 

I couldn't see

I like all the breathing things, they all connect. I realy like this ending yet I keep trying to draw more into it to connect it. I'm drawn into the poem. I like that.
