Just take a moment

Just take a moment

A Poem by Earthy Mumma Soul
"

Gratitude Poem :)

"
Grateful that I can breathe
deep into my belly

Grateful that I can wash my clothes
so they don't get smelly

To have freedom
to write and tell my story

To have support, find my voice
to own my own glory

To have money
to get me some rice

and ting

to paint
to dance
to sing  and laugh

to have food and water
and friends for lunch

to know that love is worth more than cash
to remember it's OK to crash

to remember when I first kissed you
to know how to tie my shoe

To ride my bike
and feel the breeze

To walk in woods
and feel at ease

To feel the pain
that woke me up

To cry the tears,
 that fill my cup

To know that I don't really know it all
to know i'm smart ,
even though I didn't do well at school

To be where I am today
to know that everything will be OK

To know,to have hope
and Thank you
for gratitude has passed my doors today.

A great antidote to the fast paced, corporate world that we live in today....really enjoyed the upbeat message of your poem here. "To walk in woods and feel at ease".....and then the final stanza...and in my opinion most important to being happy in life...oh yeah,,....gratitude! Thanks for sharing....enjoyed this....

Speaks straight to my heart! We all need to stop and be thankful for the things we have instood of complaining about what we want! Excellent write!

We can indeed be grateful for lots of things but seldom stop and reflect. Your reflection has given me mine. I've read most of your work and this is my favourite so far. Thank you.
