Have you ever told a lie
And liked the way it made you

Have you ever drawn your blood
to make sure the pain was
Real?
Have you ever plunged the needle
Deep
Into your skin?
Have you ever gambled knowing

That
You wouldn’t
Win?
Have you ever smiled
When you were feeling
 

Down?
Have you ever talked to yourself
With no one else around?
 

Have you ever
Lain down your body
for price and not for pleasure?
Have
you ever -purposely-

Sabotaged yourself
From making your life better?
Have you ever woken up,
The stale taste of
Whiskey

On your breath?
Have you ever cursed your life
And happily welcomed Death?
Have you ever wanted

Something simply
because you couldn’t have it?
Have you ever intentionally
tried to form a habit?

Have you ever fallen in love
And refused to feel that way?
Have
You ever wished yourself somewhere far away?
Have you ever done something great
And hidden it from your friends?

Have you ever
Started something
Hoping only for the end?
Have you ever been yourself
While being

Completely fake?
Have you
Ever looked
In the mirror and had to do a double-take?
Have you ever fallen asleep
While going on with your day?
Have you ever been speechless
With thousands of things left to say?
