Just one glance
From you
Is all it takes
For me to forget
To Breathe.
You touch my hand,
My face, my soul.
And in that moment
I want nothing more
Than to give you
Every part of me,
My whole.
My temperature rises
I’m lost in those eyes.
Sugary sweet pools
Of creamy caramel
Pulling me down
To drown.
You’ve taken nothing (yet.)
Yet, I’d give you everything
If only you’d ask.
All logic aside,
I plunge heart first
Into the fire
And place my final bet.
We’re playing with flames, love.
And the stakes
Have never been higher.
