Day Dreams Of You

Day Dreams Of You

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

Love that lives though one is gone

"

Day Dreams Of You

The day like my heart is slow to arise

For in my golden days I search for you

You’re in the things I see

And I see you in my sleep

My dearest love

You have shaped my very soul

In our days of youth I lived for waking moments with you

And now my dreams give strength to my life where you are not

The day from dream to dream

I feel your warmth keeping me and

I hear that silent voice that is your memory

And reminisce about our yesterday’s so with that in mind

Good night my dear
