Boiling Skies

Boiling Skies

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

inward pain

"

A day at peace, sun so high, clouds at rest

but for no reason why,

my inward peace shifts until gone.

Boiling skies consume my soul,

barometer wild takes its toll.

The scent of rain and green clouds abound.

No words to speak only pen can say:

That a storm soon will come my way.

A weary smile conceals the gale.

As God’s good grace gives birth to hope.

Revealing a day laced in love.

The sun will rise and lift the veil to a day at peace,

Sun so high, clouds at rest

as I reason why.

A nice ebb and flow to this poem, Cherrie.
I really enjoyed your journey from peace to turmoil to hope and finally to reason..
a well crafted work...

Your poem again just shows how nature can teach us a lot about life and how pain is only temporary.

Oh geeeeeeeeez Cherrie, this is so beautiful.
The flow is awesome.
Yes, we all get weary and down, but then God's grace abounds.
We always find that glimmer of hope through and in Him.
Awesome poem, just awesome
