Midnight Plum

Midnight Plum

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

an embrace

"
gentle breeze tousled hair
twilight deepening to a midnight plum
minutes escaping as lovers coo
embrace tightening as heads begin to swoon
sun is rising eyes twinkle bright
lovers passion has consumed the night

"midnight plum" now there's a color worth waiting for...as for the rest, you make your words dance to the twinkling stars, and capture the eve for us all

You so tenderly speak words that carry lovers through the depth of night's midnight plum. Beautifully vibrant and alive.
