Homeward BoundA Poem by Cherrie PalmerWritten for my brother-n-law who is not long for this world
Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me,
And the breath of the Almighty gives me life… I see you, said the King, the creator of all you see. Before the first sunrise I determined your very stride. And your smile is known to me. I pulled together your strengths, so, you would help your fellow man. And I added in some flaws, so, in me you would depend. Yes, I know you well and paid for your passage here. And when the veil is parted your loved ones will line the path And I too will be waiting. Welcoming you home again. © 2023 Cherrie PalmerReviews
