Shadows FallA Poem by Cherrie PalmerGhazal 5 couplets. The first ending in the same phrase. And the second line there after repeats it.
Under the oak so old, shadows form
on the darkened lea, shadows form. The babbling brook smoothly sings. Sloping sun, lets the shadows form. The book now closed, the day is gone. And with sleepy mind shadows form. Beneath twinkling stars, a light bows low. And from that light, these shadows form. ---Cherrie--- © 2023 Cherrie PalmerReviews
