his stolen warmth missing
for the two winds spoke

at the same time. Lovely Tropical Weather. I call it Mango Season.

Excellent Cherrie and definitely we are in that Japanese short-form territory again where your Work is so strong. This has lovely mythic qualities ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Interesting - I am not averse to either version ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Your poem was really beautiful! The way you described the sun shining brightly, but his stolen warmth missing was so evocative and poignant. It was like you were conveying a sense of loss and longing. The line about the two winds speaking was especially powerful - it was like you were describing a sense of conflict and tension. The way you used personification to describe the sun and the winds was really effective - it was like you were bringing the natural world to life. Overall, I thought your poem was really well written and thought-provoking.

Has it been windy there where you are? I see a thread in the ink as it scrawls across your page.

Oh yeah it has been very windy.
a cold wind will block the warmth and the sun will look like a cheater...expressing love, but chilling the heart instead.

I know. I hate it when that happens.
The other day, here in the south of England, the sky was as blue as blue can be, not a cloud in sight. Yet, when I got out of my car, the air was so cold I knew that in the hour I'd been inside the vehicle the wind, the breeze, the weather.. had played tricks. Strange weather, strange mood., strange going-on.

You have shared thirteen finely set words and nudged this reader's rambling thoughts and memories!

I think I'll take the Sun to small claims court for false advertising. 🤔

Absolutely no comment! I ain't jinxing the fact that the big yellow skyball of fire has strolled into view and looks like it might even stick around for a day or two, which will make this spring the best summer we've ever had! 😊
But for the no comment, I think the winds are talking to the sun to say, let's blow ourselves back to Scotland now and you son, can swap places, now that we've got their expectations up again!
But if they ask, tell them a big boy made me say it then ran away. 😊

I feel there is a deeper meaning to this than I am grasping but I will say, it has been the windiest year so far here that I can ever remember. And cooler pretty much than it normally is this time of year because of the wind. Nicely written.

We always have lots of wind in the Spring. My hair will testify to that.
