Everything Beautiful

Everything Beautiful

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

Features of stone

were washed away

as the old man watched

the willowy ballerina sashay .

The winds and strings

further tenderized his soul,

till glassy eyes refused to blink

as time faded

and only the moment was.

dear Cherry, a Ballerina lives her days as Violins play and her Lover is entranced as they dream their orchestrated memories. Charmingly romantic. Pat

Yes stingy moments we need from time to time to navigate this old world.
I can picture this clearly and it really made me smile. There's nothing like a beautiful ballerina to make an old man feel young again. I could see his eyes glistening as he thought back on his own ballerina, the love of his life. Just me though I suppose. Nicely written Cherrie.
