The Matcha Bee

The Matcha Bee

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

The Japanese tea ceremony preformed by nature :)

"
The little bee bowed low his head

wiped his feet on the petals' edge.

He freed said nectar found within;

then, once more bowed his head.

His clapping feet sifted the nectar,

cascading into the tiny cup.

Then, magically, as if on cue,

the summer rain whisked it up.

With his wing, he cleaned the rim;

passed the drink to his tiny friend.

The wee small friend bowing low …

drank the gift, returning the bowl.

and the buzz is captured by the media...the most congenial and polite bees ever heard of...
or maybe they are just flower children and it is love...

Ya know I loved the idea of a bee being a tea master and preforming the tea ceremony. 🍵 :)
