I feel so small here upon this Earth.
In this southern place,
my eastern most space.
Waiting on the sun to crest.
Playing Nocturnes, as I stretch.
Holding the crescent lunge.
Bare feet nestled on a foamy rug.
I smell my coffee brew,
and plan my day with you.
We should feel small in the presence of the world's majesty. Not in significant, though. We have our place in this world and must respect that. This is a simple and beautiful depiction of a life I try to embody. Underneath the outward appearance of longing is a contentment. Companionship, coffee, the beauty of Nature, what more is necessary for a happy life.

That's a sign of something, but I can't remember that either 🤔
Anywho I Agee we are but a speck of time here On this earth. But we each are important and must remember to choose wisely.
I'd like to see some sheet music for some nocturnes. I play hammered dulcimer and think that would sound good. So does this poem. Comfortable comfort comforting my brain. I liked the southern place being your eastern most space cancellation.
I tried to tap on the link and nothing happened? Should I go there?
This one feels like Ida Limon and I wonder if there is more this one should say. In other words it’s really good but is it finished?

I'm not sure exactly how I decide where the end is. But I just hear it.

Excellent Work Cherrie - 'Wake up and smell the Coffee' - I particularly like the way you have conjured the vastness of the sky and the landscape - 'To see Eternity in a grain of sand'. Exceptional.
The routine of stretches is a great way to start and end the day. I used to do yoga and you can really feel the difference when you stop. The body needs more oil like the tin man. Both stretching and yoga are good for the body and I've recently started doing both again. They're also spiritual in nature, and that makes a great combination. :)

Yes stretching is key. Keeps me moving okay Tim back to the basics.
Heaven is more than God and the afterlife...
so is hell...
on earth we get a taste of each...you have shown that positive side...
much love and contentment here.

Funny, I guess I serve a cup or two via my poetry.
NO WAY! I just finished my stretches! I do them these days at the evening! love love love this one dear Cherrie! resonates within me, normally I make my coffee, put is beside me as I do a short yoga practice before starting the day. "Stretching to Heaven" couldn't said it better! there is certain magic flows between your lines here, I am happy I stumbled with your poem before going to sleep. Thank You~
