Studying the form. And your words. Wanting something so much only to smother it then lose it. That's what I'm getting. Anything goes in a Cinquain, just stick to the form?

Yes, just a play on words matching nature with a relationship.

there are win win situations and then lose lose ones.
Pride usually causes the latter.
