Very nice to read this and see the picture. I've seen several deer in the cemetery on the next block. Some sleep in front of the graves at night.

I like your Haiku, and I see in my mind's eye a soft meadow with a young Doe resting or sleeping, covered gently by a wheat pall...soothing and lovely...

Our trees have not yet stripped down for Winter. They still don't Autumn’s taffeta (which I love).. read more

so I found your Haiku to be as soothing as a Nest in a tree where Birds

Yes, they are pure and gentle creatures that are gentle and innocent as God meant them to be.
