The Rising Cresant MoonA Poem by Cherrie Palmer
The rising crescent Moon drips golden rays of butter,
and the Galaxy's Milky-Way churns a creamy treat. As fluttering eyes of rest chase a candied lightning streak. Fluff the purring kitten folds thunder into the brew. Echoing chatter from the evening train revibrates a fading boom. Dancing images of Knights in battle spring from the canvas of stars. Then the silence of sleep comes with the fullness of Jupiter and Mars. © 2021 Cherrie PalmerReviews
