Making use of time.

 

We are a throwback you and I.

Two hearts with one design.

The thoughts of the other are so clear.

And a warm smile can melt any fear.

Children stare as we find time to dance

Our August love now a late September romance.

I know you’ve heard of second sight.

But for what it’s worth,

 first sight holds true worth.

With greyer hair and stiffer knees,

We bend to each other, and

in our mind’s-eyes we are still 33.

I have always said what is the point of growing old if you don't get to act like a child again, and adding love into the mix always helps too 😊
We have a saying here for childish behaviour, to act your age, not your shoe size. We'll, trust me to mix it up and I've been acting my shoe size (8 and a half) ever since 😊
