the pace

the pace

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

The day is spent

The sun has set

And tomorrow is on hold.

So, slow your pace

Life is not a race

And with morning light

We can go.

I agree my dear friend. We need to slow down and relax the body and the mind. Thank you dear Cherrie for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Feeling you suggest your pace is guided by patience - enjoying the interim for the little things often overlooked: minutiae delightful yet often complex. Your words are so gently placed, Cherrie, but so worth re-reading. Thank you for sharing. Take care, keep safe in that gentle wander of yours. Hugs.

The older I get the quicker they come.
I am in this space right now.

Day is done, and just chilling...reading some poems and enjoying them, savoring them...no rush...
morning will come soon enough.
