Red Hot & Blue

Red Hot & Blue

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

Babe sings the blues

"

Red Hot and Blue.

See her sizzle in silk so red.

A clear announcement of all she has.

A path is cleared to the stage,

and with an angel’s voice music is made.

A somber riff fills the room as Babe sings Misty Blue.

red hot indeed .. the sizzle leaped at me instantly ;) you paint a great picture, Cherrie ..enter stage left .. the hush and sway of that red silk ... oooooooooooooooooooooooo la la :) not sure who the Babe is you speak of .. Dorothy Moore or the invincible Etta James ... either one .. doesn't matter .. great moving song and fine tribute .. the red font is very effective :)

Personally, I am a Etta fan, but, at last, I couldn't find her in red.

Thank you so much some times I like to capture a moment.
I'm not familiar with the divas of which you & Gene banter, but there are plenty of sirens who could fit this bill, such as Aretha, Patsy, & Barbra! Love your title & the content lives up to the heat! Here's hoping your Christmas week is full of love & togetherness (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
