Hidden

Hidden

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

maybe?

"

Hidden

Your beauty shines, small white lie.

Give to me your time, you have nothing to lose but your life.

Run with me and we will fly, till my boredom wakes.

and the hidden  lie  springs into the light.

Mysterious and kind of horrifying...
Great work here.

I like that you can either read this as two separate things or words spoken mingled with inner dialogue.

Ok this was chilling indeed Cherrie. Not sure I would like to meet the protagonist alone in a dark place. The shading was sort of effective and interesting.

I have been wanting to play with this notion of hiding words. I may have to do it a time or too.

cool, that's really good.
LOVE! This is soooo creative! I love the snarky way the faded sentiments are like the REAL thoughts or feelings we try to keep hidden. This is SUCH an inventive way to show instead of tell. Also, I love the contrast between what's in black & what's in fading shades of gray! Bravo! And I'm glad to see you posting prolifically! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

My mind is on the move. I was not sure of the format. I'm glad you think it works.
