Never

Never

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

no never

"

Sorrow has carried me here.

Crested tears have flooded the stream,

and upon the drift,

 Floats beside me,

 broken truths, and

drowning dreams.

I cannot cling to the raft you’ve given.

I will make

away that’s new,

and

with your broken truth’s

and promises

Never again

will I

say

I love you.

Good morning Kim :) thank you so much. and so far the day is awesome, I hope the same for you.
Indeed a sorrow filled yet determined and fiesty statement of intent set in a flowing free verse poem Cherrie. Lucky I know tis only poetry!

… actually this might belong to a old forgotten life, that I barely remember.
