Fall's Arrival

A

 push of

wind darted across

my lane.

I fully expected

to see

showers of rain,

And

showers did come

moving

with the breeze.

A

monsoon of leaves

 spread-out

before me.

Freed from summer’s heat,

 I

reveled in

change.

Fall,

 has announced

its arrival,

and

I for one

am relieved.
