That's new to me - liked the syllables how insightfully stuffed in. Deep and heartfelt - something untold and untouched you inked around.
Also, outta curiosity, I just checked your blogging site which has my attention now because when I checked your first post written in 2011, It would remind me the old time of mine cos, as far as I recall, may be back in 2012, I embarked on my writing journey... though started posting on blogger since 2015. So it's quite special and memorable.
Always good to meet n greet with people/writers who write since long and keep memories captured like you did. Looking forward to reading your stuffs and blogs.. as I have just followed you on blogger as well.
Happy Labour Day ahead, Cherrie.

However, I didn't find the connection between writer and my work ( old dog new tricks) so I just couldn't get my heart or head into blogging. Maybe I will try again later on. I am thrilled you enjoyed my poetry and hope you enjoy other pieces of my humble efforts. :)

...it is so good to hear from you :) I hope you are well during these crazy days.
now if only we could rise with that sort of grace every morning! As silly as this sounds I do try to think of something to be grateful for from the day before i drift off to sleep:) maybe its a glimpse of a rosy sky or i see a couple holding each other lovingly, or of course i read a poem that touched me:)
This is floating with the sensation of grace. I do live with an overall sense of wonderment becuz I'm surrounded by God's gifts (wilderness -- even tho it's on fire right now). I awaken feeling so happy to be alive, so happy to be here, then I smell the smoke & see it when I look out over the gray ridges & I think: "am I supposed to be fretting?" I can't shake the feeling of loving my surroundings, even as I feel guilty for not being afraid or worried, like everyone around me seems to be! I love how you don't over-complicate or pretty this up. I hate when statements of faith sound like religiosity, that recognizable "sound" of a preachy mind. This is totally free from that, which is why it feels like floating in the way it wraps around one's brain (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You know whenever I write about God or my faith, I always write from the 1st person so it comes from my heart and not my head. I think it keeps it pure and more heartfelt. I also dislike be hit between the eyes with someones judgements. Mostbof the time those folks will judge another against some standard they don't come close to walking.
This feels like a warm blanket when reading. A strength that whispers everything will be ok. Tough times test us to the point of breaking but down deep lies something extra to pull us through.
I am a published poet and love poetry. After a lifetime of country living, I'm making a move back to town. I find my surroundings a great inspiration to me. I also have two books on Amazon Kindle: .. more..
