Oh the veil that shrouds your soul That fancy fringe that follows the fray and flows freely from place to place It dangles just out of my grasp My pursuit to rent this arras from your heart evades me Just as your essence allures me Could I with word or deed draw you in, Would you take a smile as proof of my intent
Goodness, Cherrie!
Who could possibly say no to such a lilting, softly-irresistible, entreating voice. 🎶
Sheer romantic sensuality oozes from every word, to weaken the most determined resolve.
I love a love poem, and one can easily grasp how intent this sizzlingly tender verse truly is.
Enchanting, Cherrie, amorously so … my kind of poetry! ⁓ Richard 🍃

Some people are veiled more thickly than others and that adds to their allure. Having said that, a warm and welcoming smile almost always works. A beautiful poem on intent.

dear Cherrie... so glad you mentioned in the reviews that
the photo depicts the "Light in the Hem of His Garment".
I believe there is a song about touching the hem of his garment.
I found your poem very touching and true to life when we have
Intentions of romance that are tender and vulnerable. truly, Pat
