1/2 Sugar white 1/2 Cup Butter 1/4 Cup Water 2 Tablespoons Jack Daniels 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon lemon juice Set your apples in a bowl with the white sugar sprinkled over them. Let them sweat about 15 minutes while you get every thing ready and / or make the biscuits. Melt butter, Add liquids, apples, raisins, brown sugar, and cinnamon; stir to coat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring frequently, until apples have softened and liquid has reduced to a syrup, about 10 minutes. Stir lemon juice into apples and serve warm.
