Wallflowers

Wallflowers

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

Garden humor

"
Barrage of borage fills the skies,
and I on the offensive wonder why.
Careful maneuvering gives way to haste.
As exploding pollen cover this place.
My dream of a daisy will not be met
Even the wallflowers cannot be kept.

Cherrie Palmer
How do you catch a wild flower?
You 'neak up on it.

How to you catch a tame one?
The tame way.
I'm here all week. Don't forget to catch my 2 o'clock show. He he

yes, Neville is quite an inspiration, isn't he?
i had never had a problem with allergies or sinus...until i had been in southern illinois for many many years...and then boom, it came and stayed...
This place is rife with them...
makes flowers become wallflowers...inert, unable to move...stationary suffering.

This is pretty subtle (for me), but I gather one has to retreat due to pollen attack & you're suggesting allergies so bad even wallpaper is offensive to this nose & sinuses? That's damn clever, if I'm reading you right! I hope the aforementioned nose is not yose. Thankfully, my constant inhalations of dog fur seemingly gives insulation over my histimine centers . . . damn, I should write that into a poem! I can always count on you for divine inspiration! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie

I got the idea from a conversation I had with Neville. So really it's his fault.
